The centre cabin has a fixed double bed with sprung mattress.

The seating area in the bow cabin converts to a double bed or 1 single berth and there is one fixed single. Two extra child bunks can be made up to suit a larger family party.

The dinette in the galley converts into a third double berth. There are two toilets and two showers.. Turf burning stove for spring and autumn cruising. This is a luxury boat for 4, spacious for 6 and can accommodate 2 families. Features include a viewing window and a large open bow deck, which is a unique feature specially designed by Canalways. The JAMES GILL is named after the last boatman, Jim Gill, who recently retired after 50 years of service working on the waterways. His family has been closely connected with the Grand Canal and River Barrow going back many generations. We are honored to use his name, which will be a constant reminder of the history associated with boating of bygone days.
