Canalways Ireland is based at Spencer Bridge, Rathangan, county Kildare.  We are centrally located to enjoy the tranquil Grand Canal going North-West across the Midlands of Ireland or the magical River Barrow Navigation going South. ( See route map and route options pages )

Canalways is only one hour away by car from Dublin Airport.

HOW TO REACH US?

By Air:
There are numerous flights into Dublin Airport.
Aer Lingus, British Midland, British Airways, SAS Airlines and Ryanair.

Direct Transfer: 

The most convenient way to reach us is by Direct transfer from the Airport or City. We will arrange a driver pick you up and take you to our base. The cost is Euro 65.00 p.p. return based on 4 travelling.

By Bus/taxis: You can also make your own way by coach from the Airport to Kildare town with onward travel by taxis. see www.dublincoach.ie  

Rail / taxis – You can make your own way from Dublin City to Rathangan. Take the train from Heuston Station to Kildare Station. Onward journey to Canalways base by taxis. www.irishrail.ie

By Car –  From Dublin take the N7 direction South and take Exit 12 for Newbridge and the Curragh Racecourse, follow the signs for Rathangan.
